Observation before interpretation
Viktoriya Kurmayeva is an artist with experience in drawing, painting, portraiture and illustration who is developing a dedicated body of work around sporting culture and wildlife.
Her approach begins with close observation: the structure of an animal, the expression of a face, the atmosphere of a landscape. Commissioned work then brings those studies together into a composition built around the client’s personal story.
